EXAMPLE 6: EXERCISE 76C
You are on: SHOT SQUASH 2000 >> EXERCISES >> HOW TO READ THE EXERCISES >> EXAMPLE 6

Let us read this exercise together, step by step.

  • Shot 1n (green) coach boasts

  • Shot 1n (red) player drives

  • Shot 2n (green) coach boasts

  • Shot 2n (red) player drives

This sequence is marked by the letter n and therefore repeated.

  • Shot 3 (green) a shoulder high drive

  • Shot 3 (red) the player chooses to volley down the wall or cross court

In this case the coach played shot 3 from the right side of the court. If the coach desires to make the exercise easier he may call the shot, by saying "volley" before he sets up the shot. To make the exercise more difficult, the coach may play shot 3 from either side of the court, and may also increase the pace.
